All material presented electronically during ECCMID or other ESCMID events remains the property of its respective authors. Independent screen capture or broadcast of live congress sessions is not permitted. Sessions will be recorded by ESCMID for later watching.
Certificates of participation (not including CME credits) will be emailed to participants following the congress. CME certificates (if applicable), will follow afterwards, specifying the particiant's amount of hours spent attending online sessions.
Further information about CME points will be communicated in early 2021.
Upon receipt of the correct registration fee, each participant will receive a confirmation of registration by email. Instructions and log-in details for online access will be provided by email to registered participants at several points leading up to the congress.

The ESCMID-SFM Manual of Clinical Microbiology is a jointly produced hard-copy publication by ESCMID and SFM. In 2010 a popular French Manual of Microbiology was published by SFM. The new manual is based upon the original French manual, but has been updated and adapted for Europe. There are 52 chapters covering essential information in clinical microbiology. The launch of the Manual was at the ECCMID 2012 in London. On site, the manual is available for purchase from the ESCMID Booth.

The Pipeline Corner has become a regular and popular ECCMID session type. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Europe and overseas will present their research projects and product pipeline. For 2021, two Pipeline corner sessions are planned, one for Diagnostic Developments, and one for New Drug Development. Date and time TBA

All accepted abstracts, electronic versions of posters as well as presentations are published in the ESCMID eLibrary after the congress. There is no printed abstract book or CD available. You can already find previous year’s material in the eLibrary now.
