Escape Room
The ECCMID Escape Room is a new type of activity, where a team of participants work cooperatively to discover clues, solve puzzles and perform tasks in a physical game set up, with the ultimate goal of escaping from the room. The ECCMID Escape room will of course focus on infectious diseases themes. Pre-booking is essential.

ECCMID 2021 Escape Room
Strange symptoms, an incomplete history, and time is running out! Can you and your group solve the case and escape from the infectious situation?
The ECCMID Escape Room is a team activity for groups of 4-8 people (optimal group size 6 people) to meet online to collect clues and solve an interactive clinical case within a one hour time limit. Five slots are available on each day of ECCMID (9 – 12 July), so be sure to form your team soon to secure a place.
Groups should register via the ECCMID website. Each person on the team must have a valid ECCMID registration. Be sure to come up with a name for your group, the best teams and times will be posted to the online leaderboard, with prizes offered for the best times!
Registration will open in April 2021, but get your group together today to confirm your place in this new ECCMID activity. The case, the clues and the clock are waiting for you!
