Press Registration
Press registration is complimentary and includes all privileges of regular registration.
Only accredited journalists or reporters, writers or editors with credentials from a newspaper, magazine, radio or TV station, wire service, syndicate or other news organization may register and receive complimentary online access. Freelancers must present proof from a news organization that has assigned them to cover the meeting. Freelancers wishing to cover ECCMID on a speculative basis are asked to request accreditation in writing using their letterhead.
Embargo Policy
Press releases will be issued on sessions and abstracts of interest to the media. These will be issued several working days in advance wherever possible. They will include a mixture of sessions and both oral and poster abstracts.
The abstracts of the congress, not selected for press release, will be available 10 days before the congress starts and will be accessible online on the ECCMID website: www.eccmid.org
Information for ECCMID Sponsors
Press releases may be displayed in the press room if the organisation or individual responsible for the content is clearly stated on the document. Distribution boxes must be physically separated from the respective boxes for official ESCMID/ECCMID press releases.
