Is it possible to access the platform using a smartphone or tablet?
The platform is not supported on mobile devices or tablets. For the best experience desktop computers and laptops should be used to access the platform. When viewing the platform, the window should be maximized. The screen resolution that provieds the best performance is 1920x1080.
When can I enter a session?
Sessions will open for attendees 5 minutes before the designated start time.
Click the ‘enter talk’ button to enter the session room.
What browser should I use to connect?
We recommend using Google Chrome for best performance. You can download it here
Where should I connect from?
You should connect to ECCMID from your home or office where you have access to a stable wired internet connection. Using Wi-fi or a public network can result in an unstable connection or failure to connect.
Can I use a VPN?
VPNs or specific corporate networks may block the connection to ECCMID. Attempt to login to ECCMID before the congress starts to ensure you aren't being blocked by your network or firewall.
Can I view 2 sessions simultaneously?
No, the platform only allows you to view one session at a time. If you wish to view another session, you can move from one session to another.
Can I login on 2 devices simultaneously?
No, your personal login link can only be used by ONE person on ONE device (desktop or laptop), at the same time. The latest login will override any previous one.
